Terms of Use

Rules for accessing and using the Rovto platform.

1. Purpose

These terms govern access to and use of Rovto, a stream control tool for esport competitions published by Rovto, a French sole proprietorship (entreprise individuelle). Using the service implies acceptance of these terms.

2. Access and eligibility

Access requires an account via Google authentication. The service is intended for competition organisers, broadcasters and volunteers. Rovto is currently in a testing phase and not yet open to the general public.

3. Account and user responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided and for keeping your access confidential.
  • You undertake to use the service lawfully and in accordance with these terms.

4. Acceptable use

The following are prohibited in particular: uploading unlawful content or content infringing third-party rights, any attempt to disrupt, circumvent security or gain unauthorised access, and any use diverting the service from its purpose.

5. Intellectual property

The platform (code, design, texts) is the property of Rovto or its contributors. Content uploaded by an organisation (logos, visuals, media) remains its exclusive property; the organisation grants Rovto a limited hosting and display licence, solely to provide the service. Such content is not shared with other organisations, unless the owner explicitly chooses to.

6. Availability, suspension and termination

The service is provided as is, with no guarantee of continuous availability. Rovto may suspend or close an account in the event of a breach of these terms. You may request the deletion of your account at any time.

7. Limitation of liability

Rovto is provided as is. The publisher cannot be held liable for any service interruptions, data loss or malfunctions, nor for the use made of the platform by user organisations.

8. Changes to the terms

These terms may be amended. Users are informed via the update date; continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the terms in force.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable resolution, any dispute shall fall under the competent courts of Grenoble.
